We need to slow down, re-evaluate what is important in our lives, stop wasting resources and releasing carbon for purposes that don’t improve our lives… the more we do to prepare for a peak oil world now, the better our lives will be later. It is going to be painful, but as David says, if we act now to make radical changes in our lives we just may be able to soften the impact. We aren’t expecting governments that are tied up with big business to do much to help… but it would be very nice if they did start helping on some levels.
