   We have salsify growing all over the parkland near to us, and some of it blew in our garden. The best thing is, people like it because it is decorative, so don’t treat it like a weed. By the time they realise that it’s going to shed seeds everywhere, it’s too late to stop it

   I look forward to a few roast dinners with salsify shortly.
