    Hello,

    My name is Robbin and I work at a environmental website that just launched this past weekend called Eco Home Resource (www.EcoHomeResource.com). The site is dedicated to helping people create and maintain healthy home and work environments. The site features helpful information on all areas of the home, including

    * A Rich Database of Products & Services
    * Expert Articles
    * Product Comparisons
    * An Eco Home Store…and so much more!

    The site cover topics from how to green your baby’s nursery to the most energy-efficient appliances and great ways to conserve water. We even go “beyond green” and explore topics such as Color Theory, Feng Shui and Aromatherapy. It is the goal that the site will inspire conscious, healthy choices that will benefit people and the planet in which we live.

    So please take a look, and feel free to contact the founder, Karen Moore, with any questions or comments.

    hi robbin
    thanks for your comment. although we like the look of your site, we dont really feel it goes as far as we would….
    if you’d like to write an article for us, perhaps about the huge numbers of new chemicals released into the world, and the dangers of these products of civilisation within our homes, we might well be happy to post.
    you suggest, on your site, using ‘green’ alternatives, but is there really such a thing as a green product – it still involves industry and people seeing themselves as consumers? many of the trappngs of modern life are in fact completely unnecessary, and although we recognise the value of your website, we’d like to support a more radical approach.
    thanks again

    Hi there!

    How is it going? I’ve just popped in your blog and I loved it! I’m an intern from http://www.edenbee.com , have you ever heard of us before? Well, to sum up we are a green social networking site for people who want to reduce their carbon footprint.
    On the site you can find people who care about the environment, find more ideas how to save energy and share your experiences.
    So if you are interested, it would be great to have you on board. Just let me know.

    Best Regards,
    Nils

  4. Hi folks,

    Happy to have our Peak Moment Conversation about alternative currencies recently added to your site. I can’t promise to “write” much for you, but we’d welcome “videotaping” for you, i.e., having our Peak Moment Conversations and DVDs listed as a resource on your sidebar, and embedded into your site as you wish. If I can receive your email address, I’ll notify you as new programs are posted. (One on Transition US is coming soon). Many of your blog topics would make superb Peak Moment shows. We would love to connect with folks in your network. They can contact me directly at janaia(at)peakmoment.tv

    Ah, your premises. Absolutely. The book “Against Civilization” was inspirational. Civilization, and the money system, are destroying life. May it collapse quickly yet with minimal suffering for those at the grass roots — human and more-than-humans.

  5. Dear Admin,

    Of course the only solution is a change of culture.

    I would like to write for you, and also syndicate some of my content on your blog and have some of your content syndicated on the one I edit which is called punk rock permaculture e-zine which you seem to be familiar with. Lets call it blogging mutual aid. I am also in the process of forming a permaculture media coop with other radical permaculture folks. I think permaculture with out radical perspectives could easily become a eco luxury hobby. We need to remind folks of people care and expand their ideas about fair share.

    get back to me ASAP

    P.S. perhaps it’s time to change your anti-spam work form self sufficiency to community sufficiency just a thought?

    Wow. I just watched the movie Avatar. It really drove home the message behind corporate greed. I have believed for sometime now we have been subjects of a creul system that drians the life out of all it touches to propelle itself to greater power. And cedit is the new world slavery. But for sometime now I havent been able to figure out hoe to get the message out to others. I am releived to see that someone has with this site. There is a great need now more than ever to wake up the sleeping,. I beleive the time is at hand the liberation of this planet and we as part of that is near, very near.

    hi im new to view this page but i have noticed that here and other sites i have found all seem to share a similar point of view and look at the problem from a small scale.
    if you mention the word communities people instantly assume your either a hippy or a gun nut.
    it seems that no one has even thought about setting up a community in the uk where people can still interact with today’s modern world and still provide all of your needs using group skills.
    if you group enough people and enough varied skills and finances you can design and build a community that need’s nothing from the outside world as a whole.
    i as a layman have come up with designs and ideas where you can use land considered useless and depending on the location you can generate power, build a large self sustaining complex to house over 200 people including quaters, farming, recycling, and leasure areas. all i need is like minded people share in the idea.
    for info mail gareth at thomasgareth30@hotmail.co.uk
